Wilson, Orville “Marty”
1961-2025
Passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side, after a lengthy illness on April 22, 2025 in his 64th year.
Loving husband of 45 years to Judy (nee Monkman). Beloved father of Kenny (Sarah) and proud grandfather of Kennedy & Sammy. He is also survived by his brother Allan, sister-in-law Sandie Monkman (Bob), brother-in-law Kevin Monkman (Jody), as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, & uncles.
Predeceased by his parents Orville & Eileen. He will be sadly missed by all who had the privileged to know him.
Marty enjoyed outdoor activities fishing, hunting, camping, 4 wheeling. He worked in surveying for years for P.A. Blackburn with his dad & brother then later went on to welding for Ron’s Welding (Metal Fab).
As per his wishes, there will be no visitation or service. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, donations to the North Bay Regional Health Centre Foundation will be greatly appreciated by his family. Online condolences can be made at www.hillsidefuneral.ca
