Delays expected with curb work on Lakeshore

By Richard Coffin

Drivers can expect curb lane closures at the intersection of Lakeshore at Mulligan with curb and sidewalk improvements expected to begin Wednesday.

The city says construction will take place at all four corners of the intersection and also includes the installation of a tactile walking surface.

The work is expected to take about a week, with traffic delays expected.

“Drivers and pedestrians are asked to use caution in the area and follow any temporary traffic control measures,” states a release.

After it’s done, similar work will take place at the Lakeshore intersections with Howard Avenue, Gertrude Street and Charles Street.
