McKeown Avenue rehabilitation nearing completion
The City of North Bay says final paving on McKeown Avenue begins today (Monday, July 27).
The work is expected to take up to four days to complete, depending on weather conditions and other operational requirements.
Officials say during paving, one lane of traffic will be maintained in each direction.

Temporary road closures may be required on McNamara Street and Cartier Street; however, both roads will not be closed at the same time.
Once paving is done, some remaining work, including final restoration and other finishing activities, is expected to continue over the coming weeks.
The McKeown Avenue project has included road widening, underground infrastructure improvements, new active transportation connections, and intersection upgrades to improve safety and traffic flow.
