The weekend kicks off at noon on Friday, Oct. 9 with a community barbecue and hike at Nipissing Serenity Hospice.

Officials are hoping to raise $125,000 this year.

To date, Hike for Hospice has raised more than $815,000 in support of hospice care in our community.

“I want to challenge every business in our community to take part in the Corporate Challenge,” says Dan Degagne of title sponsor Degagne Pro Group. “Last year our team raised more than $20,000, and I know other organizations can rise to the challenge and make an incredible impact.”

Since opening its doors, Nipissing Serenity Hospice has provided free palliative care and support services to more than 700 residents and their families.
