Bus safety was the big winner at the 7th Annual Let’s Remember Adam Washer Tournament & Prize Lot Raffle.

Officials say the recent event ‘exceeded all expectations’, drawing record participation, incredible community support, and raising just over $19,000 in support of school bus safety advocacy across Ontario.

“My heart is overflowing with gratitude,” says Pierre Ranger, Chair of the Let’s Remember Adam campaign. “To everyone who came out to play, volunteer, sponsor, donate, cheer from the sidelines, buy raffle tickets, or simply spend the day with us—thank you. Every smile, every conversation, and every act of support helped make this day incredibly special.”

A record 85 teams registered for the tournament, held at the Mike Rodden Arena in Mattawa.

“Seeing our community come together year after year is a powerful reminder that Adam’s memory continues to live on through the kindness, generosity, and support of so many people,” adds Ranger.

For the third consecutive year, Alex Janveaux and Gavin Doucette won the Competitive Division Championship.

Ryan Doucette and Makaela Doucette were first in the newly created Recreation Division.
