It’s Trojans Parade for Cancer Day
Students at West Ferris Secondary School are parading to the waterfront Thursday.
They’ve been raising funds for cancer care at the North Bay Regional Health Centre, as part of the 31st annual Trojans Parade for Cancer.
Teacher Mark Robertson says the community continues to show up for their fundraiser.

“In the last three years we’ve raised in excess of $50,000 each year to bring us up over a total of $550,000 over the 31 years,” he says.
The fundraiser started with a small group of students walking laps around the track and has grown into the parade it is today.
A cheque presentation and activities are lined up for 11:30 am at the waterfront.
