June 16 disturbance at NBRHC leads to charges
A 31-year-old city man is facing charges, including mischief and assault, after a disturbance at the North Bay Regional Health Centre (NBRHC) on June 16.
The North Bay Police Service says officers responded at approximately 10:00 p.m., to reports a person attempted to access a secured area and made threats to set a fire.
They say security held the individual, who was arrested by police upon their arrival.

Police say officers located and seized items consistent with fire-starting materials and accelerants.
“In order to protect the identity of victims involved, the NBPS will not be releasing the name of the accused,” states a release.
The accused was arrested and held in custody pending a bail hearing.
