Man and Woman arrested for Robbery, Brass Knuckles Seized
The North Bay Police Service (NBPS) has arrested two individuals following a robbery investigation at a Lakeshore Drive retailer.
On April 5, 2026, at approximately 8:00 p.m., the Patrol Section responded to a robbery at a retailer in the 500 block of Lakeshore Drive. The investigation determined that the accused and a co-accused entered the store, stole merchandise, and assaulted an individual during the theft. Both suspects fled prior to police arrival. Shortly thereafter, officers located the accused, Lea-Marie SUTHERLAND, who resisted arrest but was ultimately taken into custody and held for a bail hearing.

As the investigation continued, officers identified the second suspect and obtained a warrant for his arrest on a charge of robbery.
The accused, Lea-Marie SUTHERLAND, 21-year-old female, of North Bay, has been charged with:
- Robbery with Violence
- Resist Peace Officer
The co-accused, Tyler CAMPBELL, 41-year-old male, of North Bay, has been charged with:
- Robbery with Violence
- Possession of a Prohibited Device or Ammunition
- Possession of Firearm or Ammunition Contrary to Prohibition Order
- Two Counts of Fail to Comply with Probation Order
On June 4, 2026, at approximately 11:45 p.m., the Patrol Section located the co-accused, Tyler CAMPBELL, in the 300 block of Lakeshore Drive and arrested him on the strength of the outstanding warrant. During a search incident to arrest, officers seized a set of brass knuckles. The accused was arrested without incident and later released on an undertaking.
“Through thorough investigation and coordinated patrol efforts, officers were able to identify and arrest both suspects involved in this incident, including the recovery of prohibited weapons during the course of the investigation,” said A/Deputy Warner.
