Mississauga Man Charged; $9,900 in Suspected Fentanyl Seized
The North Bay Police Service (NBPS) has charged a Mississauga man following an investigation that resulted in the seizure of more than 33 grams of suspected fentanyl.
The accused, Curtis SCRIVER, 28-year-old male, of Mississauga, has been charged with:
- Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Fentanyl
- Fail to Comply with Probation Order
Subsequent search led to the seizure of the following items:
- Controlled substances with an estimated street value of $9,900 including:
- 33 grams Fentanyl
“Every gram of fentanyl removed from circulation is a success,” said Acting Deputy Warner. “This seizure highlights the important work our officers do to protect our community and hold those involved in drug trafficking accountable."
The accused remained in custody following the incident. On June 10, 2026, the accused was formally notified of the charges and subsequently appeared for a bail hearing on June 11, 2026.
