The Heritage Railway and Carousel Company is gearing up for another season.

Officials with the mini-train and carousels are hosting an open house this Saturday afternoon (Apr. 25), as they look for new volunteers.

They add volunteering is a good way for high school students to obtain the 40 hours needed to graduate.

Saturday’s open house is being held from noon until 3 pm at the souvenir booth and caboose.

According to the waterfront attraction’s website, they’re set to open for weekends on May 16, with summer hours expanding to 7-days a week starting June 21.
