MORIN, Shirley

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Shirley Morin (nee Stokes) on September 19, 2026.Shirley was 95.

 Shirley was the treasured wife of the late Harvey Morin and mother of Michael (Julie) and Jamie (Karen). She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Lindsay (Doug), Jamie (Eric), Sarah (Dustin) and Adam (Kerri), and by her 5 great grandchildren Norah, Theodore, Austin, Bennett and Dawson. She will be fondly remembered by Harvey's sisters, brothers in law and many nieces and nephews.

 Shirley is survived by her brother Jack Stokes (Brenda) and predeceased by her brother McKay Vezina, sisters Anne Landry (Cyril, predeceased) and Gale Gorham (Wayne,).

 Shirley lived a full life on the shores of Trout Lake with Harvey, where many happy memories were made with family and friends. Shirley worked for many years at A & P and, in retirement, she and Harvey wintered in Florida and took up golf, an activity they always did together.

 The family takes comfort in knowing (and hearing) that everyone who knew Shirley loved her. She was always smiling and always so positive.  

 In her final years, Shirley resided at Eastholme for the Aged, an incredible home away from home. Eastholme staff cannot be thanked enough for their exceptional care and love for Shirley. The kindness and compassion shown will not be forgotten.

 As per Shirley's wishes, she will be cremated, and a celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
