STEWART, SCOTT
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our dad, Scott Stewart, who left us on June 11, 2026, at the age of 48.
Family meant everything to him. He was predeceased by his father, Stan Stewart, and his brother, Kirk Stewart, whom he missed deeply and now joins again. He leaves behind his loving mother, Patrica Stewart, who survives him and carries forward his memory and love.
Most of all, he leaves behind his three children, Jeremy Deboer (Keren), Alyssa Stewart, and Isabella Stewart, who were very proud to call him Dad. He was also a cherished ‘big pops’ to his three grandchildren, Genevieve, Eleanore, and Benjamin, who brought him so much joy and who will carry pieces of him with them always.
He will also be deeply missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless friends whose lives were made better by knowing him.
Scott was a proud heavy equipment operator and dedicated over 20 years to Rick Champagne Construction, a job he truly loved and was proud of. His work was more than a career to him; it was where he built friendships, worked hard, and found purpose. Those who worked alongside him knew his strong work ethic, his passion, and the pride he took in his work every day.
Scott was someone who loved the simple things that made life meaningful. One of his greatest passions was riding his motorcycle, not just for the ride itself but for the freedom, adventure, and peace it brought him. He will be remembered for his love, laughter, stories, his memories, his ability to fix anything, and the way he showed up for the people he cared about. His absence leaves a space that can never be filled, but his memory will continue to ride beside us wherever life takes us.
A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday July 11th from 11am – 2 pm at the Corbeil Four Seasons Club, located at 1482 Corbeil Road, Corbeil.
Forever loved. Forever missed. Never forgotten.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Men's Health Foundation. Arrangements entrusted to Basic Cremation Services.
