West Nipissing honours community volunteers
Several volunteers are being celebrated in West Nipissing.

The Municipality held its inaugural Volunteer Recognition Program at the end of June, honouring individuals and organizations nominated by the public.
Officials say their dedication, generosity, and community spirit help make West Nipissing a stronger, more connected place to live.
“Volunteers are at the heart of West Nipissing,” says Kassandra Girard, Economic Development Officer. “So much of what they do happens quietly and without any expectation of recognition, but their generosity, compassion, and dedication have a lasting impact on the people and organizations they support. This celebration gave us an opportunity to pause, recognize their contributions, and sincerely thank them for helping make our community stronger, more welcoming, and more connected.”
