Linda Romain
Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at the North Bay Regional Health Centre on Monday, September 14th at the age of 78.
Linda was born December 2nd, 1947, and later became the cherished mother of Sherrylynn and Michael (Sherry) Romain. She was the loving grandmother of Jonathan, Ryan, Bryanna (Matt), Emily, and Shelby-Lyn and step grandchildren Sienna and Olivia.
She was also blessed with 5 great-grandchildren, Mia, Sophia, Emillya, Greyson and Maverick who will all miss her dearly. Linda is survived by her siblings Melvin Smith (Pat), Marilyn O’Brien (Daniel), and Millie Smith. She is now reunited with her predeceased siblings, Vit, Leonard, Frankie, and Lou Smith as well as her parents, Raymond and Irene. Linda was the proud aunt to Sara, Janis, Shawn, Kevin, Shay and Colin and great aunt to Mckinley and Sianna O’Brien.
As per Linda’s wishes, cremation has taken place, and the family will be receiving visitors at the Church of the Holy Spirit (Garden Village) on Saturday September 19, 2026, between the hours of 1 to 3 pm.
A celebration of life will follow at 3 to 4 pm. A feast will follow in honour of Linda.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the Canadian Lung Association.
