Nipissing-Parry Sound Catholic Board appoints new trustee
Ralph Celentano has been appointed the Nipissing-Parry Sound Catholic District School Board as Trustee for West Nipissing.
Officials say the graduate of Scollard Hall was a paramedic for more than 15 years before completing a Diploma in Business – Accounting at Canadore College, adding he has more than 20 years of extensive experience in sales and fundraising.
They say Celentano is a dedicated community leader and strong advocate for Catholic education with a rich history of supporting youth and families.

He fills a vacancy left by Trustee John Willemsen, who submitted his resignation in Feb. to relocate to Alberta to be closer to family.
“We are pleased to welcome Ralph Celentano to our Board of Trustees,” says Shawn Fitzsimmons, Chair of the Board. “Ralph brings with him a strong legacy of faith-centred service, valuable professional experience, and a deep commitment to Catholic education. His perspective will be a valuable asset as we advance our strategic ENDs in support of our students.”
Celentano’s appointment was confirmed on May 19.
He will serve the remainder of the current term of the board, ending on Nov. 14.
